Delete your Recallio account

If you have lost access to the email address or Google account you signed up with, email us from any address you can reach and say which account should be deleted. We may ask a question only the account owner could answer before we delete anything — without that, anyone could delete someone else’s library.

Everything that is yours: your saved items, your tags, your private notes, the passages you highlighted, your reminders, your sign-in identity, and the account itself. Every credential is destroyed the moment the request is accepted, so nothing can keep using the account after that — including any AI tool you had connected.

Recallio extracts a public page once and shares that extraction across everyone who saved the same link, so the extracted text and preview of a public page remain after your account is gone. They are not connected to you and cannot be traced back to you.

If you sent us feedback, the report is kept so the problem can still be fixed, but the link to your account is removed from it.

Your account stops working immediately: you are signed out and every connected tool loses access. Your data is kept, untouched, for 30 days in case you change your mind — sign back in within that time and you can restore the account and everything you saved. Connected AI tools and the browser extension have to be connected again.

After 30 days the data is removed, usually within a few minutes, and we retry automatically until it is complete. Once it is done, the account is gone for good — it cannot be restored, and neither can the items you saved.

You can sign up again afterwards with the same email address. It will be a new, empty account.
