Recallio

Questions

Everything you wanted to ask.

What is Recallio?

Recallio is a private shelf for the things you save online. Share a reel, video, post, article or screenshot to it and it becomes a card with a picture, a short summary and tags. Later you can search your saves, filter them by tag or ask them a question.

What can I save?

Instagram reels and posts, YouTube videos, X posts and threads, articles, screenshots and almost any other link. With the Chrome extension you can also save a passage you highlight on a page.

How do I save something?

On iPhone, tap Share in any app and pick Recallio. On a computer, use the Recallio Chrome extension or paste a link on the website. On Instagram you can also connect your account in Settings and then send a reel to @recallio.app in a direct message.

How do I find a save later?

Search the way you remember it. Recallio reads the caption, the spoken words of videos and the text in screenshots, so a search can match what a reel said even when the title does not. You can also filter by tags or browse your collections.

What does Ask do?

Ask answers a question from your own saves, such as "that noodle recipe with the chili oil?", and shows the saves the answer came from so you can open the original.

Can I note why I saved something?

Yes. Every save has a "Why I saved this" note. It is private to you, and search and Ask use it to find the save later.

Who can see my saves?

Only you. Your shelf, notes and tags are private to your account. The privacy policy explains what is stored and which services process it.

Where does Recallio work?

On iPhone, on the web at recallio.app, and in Chrome through the extension. The Android app is coming soon.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. In Settings, Export your saves downloads a ZIP with a spreadsheet of your links, notes, highlighted passages and tags, plus any screenshots you saved.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and choose Delete account, or follow the steps on recallio.app/delete-account. Your data is removed after 30 days; signing back in before then restores the account.
